What is being built here
Legal To Code is open infrastructure for verified legal work with artificial intelligence. It collects research questions, practical tools and notes on how to translate legal work into a language machines understand while keeping it verifiable.
A large part of that content is produced by working with agentic AI, and I assemble it from my own attempts, notes and collected papers, which hold other people’s thinking too. The agent works against a set of rules matching my methodology and enforced by machine: a cited section has to be opened and checked word for word against the library of legislation, and interpretive text is read article by article. I also go over all of it myself as I go, adding to it, correcting it and improving it, so this site keeps growing and changing. That is what the list of changes is for.
